Anyway before things get too nasty I’ll leave it there...I’m sure anyone readying this can see how infuriating this has made me and ruined the happy vibes of my birthday! Extremely disappointing!!

    2. You treated us like we were an issue and that you didn’t want us there...over the phone, when we arrived and when we left.

We ordered our food and drinks and didn’t hold back (I ordered 3 entrees to myself). Food was great but what happened next left a very bad taste in my mouth!

We were there for my birthday and took our two young children who were very well behaved. From the very start we encountered the owner Brooke whom said we needed to remove the baby from the pram to get down to our table. I disagreed as the space between the tables were sufficient however, I didn’t want to argue so we obliged and left the pram at reception.

We sat down and then moments later there is Brooke pushing the pram towards our table with ease and she left the pram with us. Not sure what the issue was originally but anyway...

    3. No one cares about kids. Most people eating there would have kids and understand and just get on with it.

    1. There was no need to get involved we can take care of it. Back off. There was no need to rush over when we were leaving.

Brook's impecable management of Jensens endures the most exacting standards of greeting, direction in both a cuisine and interactive manner and the feeling of being at home in the special ambience that is this restaurants hallmark. The cuisine itself is dramatic with unbelievable arrays of exotic tastes melding together in compkete concord. Well done - you could not ask for anything better. Return visits are de rigour!!!

MY WIFE AND MY BABY GOT ESCORTED OUT THE BACKDOOR because as Brooke the owner puts it, “so we don’t have to ask customers to move their chairs.” Excuse me, aren’t we customers too!!! Here’s what happened...

    4. Saying excuse me and asking for someone to tuck their chair in isn’t an issue for any considerate person. Why did you make a big deal?

    5. The table next to us which we said excuse me to said these exact words..”no worries, we’ve got two kids, it’s totally fine, you’ve done we’ll bring them, they were well behaved”.

Lovely atmosphere, good food. Bit pricey considering location but worth going for a special occasion.

Anyway, we moved outside where we encountered two other female customers whom heard the heated discussion...their comments...”they what? Took you out the back door?....absolutely disgraceful, if that were my husband he would have been much worse then you were in there, he would have been fuming. He would have refused to pay the bill”.

I have taken my kids to Aria and received a warmer welcome then your restaurant...with respect your a restaurant in the Kareela shopping mall...Your not Aria, your not Tetsuya’s (although they treated us better). Don’t get too big for your boots.

I paid the bill (sorry waitress you missed your tip thanks to Brooke) and raised the issue. It got heated because it was absolutely disgraceful the way my wife and my baby were treated. Treated as though they were less important and less valued.

While we were discussing how disgraceful they just treated us the manager said to my mum, well we did tell you. Excuse me! If you told us, you didn’t need to because IT FIT, Brooke discovered that for herself at the start!!

You also told us that you were squeezing us in, however several table went un-filled the entire time we were there. Inconsistent?

Here’s the weird thing...Brooke walked the pram down to our table originally so she knew very well that the pram fit between the chairs.

We asked for the bill and started making our way to the door. Before we left our table area, over runs Brooke saying “ok so your not taking the baby out of the pram (she was asleep), we’ll take you through the kitchen and out the back door so we don’t have to ask customers to move their chairs.” Wait what?!?!?!

Before I had a chance to stop this from happening my wife was scurried off out the back door. I then continued to the front door where I continued questioning why this just happened which infuriated me! There was plenty of room!
